Just Because
03:33
|
|||
You found a box with an old photograph in it.
What is the picture you see?
You see the beauty of what life all can be.
You were young and you were free.
You were lucky to find time to rifle through
This stuff before you throw it away.
Calendar fulfilled with more other urgent things.
Was that a sign for today?
So what has happened to your world or has become?
What has happened to us all?
What’s the difference between now and what you see?
Is it just ‘cause we were small?
You have to go, the phone is ringing all the time.
No chance to leave the hamster wheel.
You work to live or live to work? – What do you feel?
Wait for the answer to reveal.
Are we too deaf to hear the real sense of our life?
In younger days, sure we were told?
Are we too blind to see its beauty anymore?
Or is it just because we’re old?
So is that all there is for us – to be here.
Which plot we have for being alive?
You question if it’s worth to pray to turn the tide.
Or is it just because that’s life?

Somebody Cares
04:22
|
|||
You’re standing in the purring rain,
You’re waiting for your train.
You don’t know where you’re going,
Until you found your way.
You’re stand in front of a big door,
You leave the trusted home.
Though nothing’s for eternity, note
That somebody thinks of you.
The road is long, the air is cold,
We’re getting wise while getting old.
Though you may feel forgotten and alone
Please be aware - somebody cares.
You don’t know for what it’s worth
To leave and say “Goodbye!”.
You are tested by yourself, but
Somebody’s with you.
The fortune telling’s not for sure,
But always give your best.
Keep trust in all your powers and note
That somebody loves you.
The road is long, the air is cold,
We’re getting wise while getting old.
Though you may feel forgotten and alone
Please be aware - somebody cares.

See You In My Dreams
04:49
|
|||
Here I am – where I seem to belong
Due to things – that occurred went wrong
But they don’t know – the story behind
They won’t believe – the thoughts in my mind
Thought I’d be – just a common man
Did my work – made my family plan
But things changed – my love passed away
God took her home, left me and my son in the grey
Well, I don’t know how to get on with this ruined life,
Wanna share all my love to rebuild and revive.
But the things, they have changed, don’t know what to do
I see you in my dreams – but darling, where are you?
Tried to do – the best for my son
Second chance – a new life has begun
But things came – much worse than before
No love for him – enhanced my inner war.
Then one day – had to work, she to bear
So I asked her – to watch out and take care
But she didn’t – my son got deadly hurt
Now he is on the train to eternity
Well, I don’t know how to get on with this ruined life,
Wanna share all my love to rebuild and revive.
But the things, they have changed, don’t know what to do
I see you in my dreams – but darling, where are you?
And all they found was just my battered wife,
And all they found was just my murdered kid,
And all they found was me with my bloody hands
Holding what is left of what she took away,
Holding what is left to keep me on my way,
Holding what is left of my own judgement day!
Well, I don’t know how to get on with this ruined life,
Wanna share all my love to rebuild and revive.
But the things, they have changed, don’t know what to do
I see you in my dreams – see you in my dreams
I see you in my dreams – see you in my dreams
I see you in my dreams – but darling, where are you?

Too Long In Darkness
04:10
|
|||
Back again in this empty place – journey ended here.
The bones are aching, is that disgrace or is it just my fear?
The cards are gone, the game is lost – it hasn’t got that high.
Something went wrong way too long or was it just a try?
I guess I spent too long in darkness,
Spent too long in exile.
Seems like I lost my way of lighting
For my own path, unlearned to fly.
For my own path …
For my own path, don’t ask me why.
Searching for the things that changed – or am I still the same?
Back to old values I’ve given up against my former claim.
Not my best time, have to admit as mind control’s in vain.
Hope, I won’t stay being this way - what’s deep inside will reign.
I guess I spent too long in darkness,
Spent too long in exile.
Seems like I lost my way of lighting
For my own path, unlearned to fly.
For my own path …
For my own path, don’t ask me why.
I guess I spent too long in darkness,
Spent too long in exile.
Seems like I lost my way of lighting
For my own path, unlearned to fly.
For my own path …
For my own path, don’t ask me why.

The Gap In Our Mind
05:21
|
|||
We’re living and learning our whole way long,
We’re right one day, another day we’re wrong –
Reflecting on failure, bad luck and mistakes
To make better steps on our next stakes.
It seems to be the most efficient way
To battle all the dark, to keep our fears at bay.
Taking notes of the light and of what is well-known
To rise out of our ashes and gain comfort-zone.
And so as time goes by, we should make it click
By dealing with the fire to play darkness a trick.
But there seems to be a weird, particular trap
We get lured on and on by this magnet to snap.
It’s the cause why we time and again grab in the dirt,
Though we learned so much about us and even more about the world.
Those stupid missteps leading us to the void
Though they always seem so fuckin’ easy to avoid.
And so we stay unsatisfied by telling our story.
Still searching for the gap in our mind that’s spoiling our glory.
“Stand up again, keep givin’ your best!”,
Those words leading us from a slip to digest.
“Carry on, make a stand and stay yourself” are our spells,
No matter what TV or society tells.
The hitch of darkness is hard to resist,
It plays with nasty fakes that don’t exist.
So it will take some time to tear our noose
Made by ourselves and stop our abuse.
Over and over again we try not to get fooled.
Discover solutions ‘bout how this trap can be ruled.
Imagine a life without setbacks and sorrow.
Do we still got belief …
That we’ll get proud and satisfied by telling our story
And found and filled the gap in our mind to earn our glory?
To be complete and be in line by telling our story,
To rule the waves’ flow in our minds enjoying our glory.

Listen To The Rain
04:51
|
|||
No one knows the real reason
Why life went on in that way.
I never thought it’d be possible
That there would come that day.
No one wanted to be the weakling
And be the first to let it out.
Due past disappointments and driven by pride
There was no way to talk about.
Is there a chance to forget what happened,
Or to learn from our mistakes?
I don’t know if you feel the same
About it – so I open the window …
And I listen to the rain!
And I hope it’ll wash my sorrows away.
And I hope it’ll take my pain away.
I listen to the rain!
Since that day, there’s been no contact
Between you and me.
Hope, you’re doing fine, whatever you do.
Can we set each other free?
Cause there is way too much for us to lose
If we continue like now.
Let’s talk about it, to close this book
Or find solutions somehow.
I would be ready to forgive you your part
If you took apology for mine.
I don’t know if you feel the same
About it – so I open the window …
And I listen to the rain!
And I hope it’ll wash my sorrows away.
And I hope it’ll take my pain away.
I listen to the rain!
This may be a time where change is needed
If there is no other way.
And I know, it’s hard to say “Goodbye!”,
But it’s harder to say nothing at all.
And I listen to the rain!
And I hope it’ll wash my sorrows away.
And I hope it’ll take my pain away.
I listen to the rain, yeah
I listen to the rain!

New Generation
04:58
|
|||
Modern, better, faster – that’s the creed of our time,
Buy the state of the art and you’ll be fine.
Use the best of the best by watching all on a screen.
Everytime, everywhere, everything.
Your life it gets convenient – get everything you need.
The latest greet from the power of technique!
So, come show what you got and how quick that all is!
Yet, you don’t want any update to miss?
This just looks like a new generation,
Spinning the wheel of time!
Is this the era of fast temptation
To spend every single penny or dime?
Talking one on one becomes a foreign world,
You do not notice my spoken word.
Just see my message and your fingers are fast,
Looking to the eyes … seems to belong to the past.
But who the f**k needs ancient? – It’s just out of date and crap,
Buy the stuff they show to get over the gap.
Use and show that you’re in, that you belong to the world,
Otherwise you’re just expendable and furred.
This just looks like a new generation,
Spinning the wheel of time!
Is this the era of fast temptation
To spend every single penny or dime?
Well, this just looks like a new generation,
Spinning the wheel of time!
Is this the era of fast temptation
To spend every single penny or dime?

Queen Without A Crown
03:41
|
|||
How much is the price for a happy life
Where love is all around?
Everyday the same – going separate ways
With the hope to be found.
Common way of life – society-conform,
Declining all that may come.
Fearing to be kicked or to be decried
And staying what and where you come from.
So there you are in this modern world,
Adjusted – for not to get a bad profile.
Values from TV or the magazines
To show accepted lifestyle.
Well, you dream and hope that you will be found,
Found and treated the “Hollywood”-way.
Once you get the chance, may not good enough
Only of thinking what the others would say.
Stop fooling around!
Get out of you and be yourself!
When the moment comes
Try to get your bias down!
And become my queen without a crown!
My queen without a crown!
Well, I’ve tried a lot just to talk to you
But you don’t even mind.
Playin’ the busy bee, blamin’ it on time,
Avoiding truth in every kind.
So, I’m not sure that you’d ever get
The life that you’re really dreaming of.
Well, this was my part and I have to say:
It’s not worth to give you my love unless you …
Stop fooling around!
Get out of you and be yourself!
When the moment comes
Try to get your bias down!
And become my queen without a crown!
My queen without a crown!
So stop fooling around!
Get out of you and be yourself!
When the moment comes
Try to get your bias down!
And become ...

Farewell, Beloved Island
04:58
|
|||
Several years ago I stranded on you.
You gave me shelter, so I made it through.
Tired and hungry, I took a look:
No cannibals and no Captain Hook.
You gave me everything I need to survive,
You were my new home, where I lived my life
Where I lived my life.
I got a farmer and went through the years,
Grew trust in you and lost lotta fears.
Then one day surprising strange people came along.
And tried to kill their man but I saved that one.
He got my fellow then, a new point of view.
And I gave forward what I could and knew.
What I could and knew.
As we got two more hands we got double the yield.
But then we saw strangers again on our field.
They spoke my language, didn’t want me to stay,
I’d be go to my real home so I had to say:
Farewell, beloved island!
Farewell, I waved my hand!
You’ll stay being part of me
On my way through the big, dark seas!
Farewell, beloved island!
Farewell, I waved my hand!
You’ll stay being part of me
On my way through the big, dark seas!
The big dark seas!

Down This Long Road
04:39
|
|||
Like everyone, I make mistakes.
Some consequences are hard what it takes.
Caused through a reason I didn’t know
but they decided that I must go.
They didn’t listen to what I had to say,
just want me to be gone within one day.
So I pack my things into my car,
at least my backpack and my guitar.
And soon I’ll be gone down this long road
if there is no more place to be for me.
It seems I won’t return, my old abode,
but they can’t steal all my memories on thee.
Listening to songs from previous time
Make me get through the earnest in rhythm and rhyme
It’s like breathing the air of the good old days,
Though now I have to find my own future ways.
And soon I’ll be gone down this long road
if there is no more place to be for me.
It seems I won’t return, my old abode,
but they can’t steal all my memories on thee.
I won’t forget you, you were my home.
I know every place and corner of you.
This time there is no “wait till grass has grown”
Forever I will have to say “adieu”.
And soon I’ll be gone down this long road
if there is no more place to be for me.
It seems I won’t return, my old abode,
but they can’t steal all my memories on thee.
Yeah, soon I’ll be gone down this long road
if there is no more place to be for me.
It seems I won’t return, my old abode,
but they can’t steal all my memories on thee.
